Rukhnama Course

Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Education will refuse to approve a course on the Rukhnama at Kyrgyz Agrarian University. Among the reasons is that the proposed course would threaten Kyrgyzstan's national security. One expert interviewed in the article says that KAU, which last week awarded Turkmenistan's President and Rukhnama author Saparmurat Niyazov a honorary degree, is seeking the neighboring head of state's favor as a possible source of funding.
