An article I wrote, "Historicizing Arab blogs: Reflections on the transmission of ideas and information in Middle Eastern history," is now up at Arab Media & Society. There are also plenty of other interesting articles which I hope to read once I get through some end-of-semester grading.

Fantastic article, and I like the way you managed to name-check mostly bloggers.
I'm inspired: I have one more class meeting in my World History, mostly prep for the final exam, but I'm going to take a little time and riff on this, as well.
I noticed the blogger connection, too - Lynch makes sense, but I didn't realize Cole had also done work in this field. Maybe having worked on new media forms makes one open to using them oneself?
