South Iraq Army

I haven't formed an opinion on U.S. plans for a militia in southern Iraq made from the paramilitary units of Iraqi political parties. Josh Marshall, however, has concerns about what this says of the direction the occupation is moving, while Angry Arab sees parallels with Israel's "South Lebanon Army" that didn't work out so well.
